Dacor, Thermador and Miele were cooking up a storm in our demo kitchen.
The Standards of Excellence Rancho Mirage Showroom was pleased to host the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce and its members on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 for an after work networking mixer. Many of our appliance vendor partners provided food and prizes for the event.
Our friends at Dacor cooked a variety of succulent appetizers in our live demonstration kitchen. It certainly seemed that the Gorgonzola and Onion pizzas were a smash hit. Their red velvet cupcake bites were also incredibly good.
Purcell Murray, our reps for Thermador, had their chef making a variety of tasty bites including ravioli in a pesto sauce; sauteed shrimp with a spicy cocktail dipping sauce; and a zesty and creamy tomato bisque. Most of the items were prepared on their induction cooktop.
Our rep from Miele made use of the high-speed and steam ovens to deliver some delectable carne asada tacos and chicken tamales. The carne asada was flawless.
Our friends at Electrolux brought some cheese, meat, and fruit trays as well as some cupcakes. They also donated a portable induction cooktop as a prize. In addition, our representatives from Kitchen Aid brought cheese cake bites and some fruit trays to share. In addition, they also provided a Kitchen Aid blender as a prize for one of the lucky attendees.
The guests are enjoying some great food.
Liebherr, widely known for their column refrigerators, brought a Wells Fargo gift card as a prize and also had some delicious cheese cakes for the guests to enjoy.
Fisher-Paykel also brought some tasty foods for our guests to savor.
And finally, our friends at Viking were gracious enough to donate a Viking blender as a prize for the evening. The winner was thrilled to say the least, and was already looking forward to making margaritas using the mixer.
The chamber mixers are a great opportunity to come and meet some of the other fine businesses in the community. If you’re not a chamber member, and you live in the Rancho Mirage area, you are encouraged to join.
